Poetically wrestling with the God Story within the life we live.  This blog is about telling a story with no holds barred.  A story that is a prayer, poetry, parable, experience, reflection, picture, painting, whatever reveals the reality that is under and around the experiences we share in this thing called life.  It’s in the story where truth is found but truth is only revealed in the story when it’s told in the context of the real world.

Too much of this world has been torn apart by individualistic consumerism that has transformed our humanity into an abstract product to be bought and sold.  Stories are discreditted of their truth by political, religious and economic pundits in order to rage a war for the control of the hearts and minds of people.

This blog attempts to reconnect the disconnect of the fragmented world to uncover the reality underneath the pieces of our lives that have been broken.  The stories, poetry and prayers of this blog attempt to create a space between the God Story and the story of our lives so that there is the possibility of writing a new story where God’s Story becomes our story and our story becomes a God story.

There are three stories that come together to shape our lives and create the story that is yet to be told as it unfolds into the future.  1)  The God Story that reveals who God is within our world and how God’s presence in our world changes and transforms from what is to the possibility of what we God is calling us to become.  2)  Our story that embodies all our experiences and how these experiences shape and mold the way we understand and view the world around us.  3) The story of our culture which provides the context, the lived reality, where we our lives encounter God and God encounters us.  It’s in the intertwining of these three stories where the event, the reality, the presence of the God who became human, died, and rose to life is revealed within the ups and downs, blessings and sufferings of this world.

Join me in poetically uncovering the Mystery of life in our lives.
